Formula 1: Ακύρωση της Imola μετά από ακραίες καιρικές συνθήκες!

Το GP της Ειμίλια Ρομάνια στην Ιταλία το προσεχές τριήμερο (19-21 Μαΐου) βγαίνει εκτός προγράμματος, καθώς η περιοχή βρίσκεται σε κατάσταση συναγερμού για την επερχόμενη σφοδρή κακοκαιρία.

Η Ιταλία αντιμετωπίζει εδώ και αρκετές ημέρες προβλήματα θυελλωδών ανέμων, καταιγίδων και πλημμυρών, και τα φαινόμενα δεν δείχνουν να εξασθενούν.

H Πολιτική Προστασία της χώρας κήρυξε σε καθεστώς “κόκκινου συναγερμού” την περιοχή της Εμίλια Ρομάνια, όπου βρίσκεται η πίστα της Ίμολα.

Η κατάσταση έκτακτης ανάγκης επεβλήθη λόγω των προβλέψεων για θυελλώδεις ανέμους και κατακλυσμούς με ύψος βροχής μέχρι και 150 mm, που φτάνουν σε βαθμό επικινδυνότητας ακόμα και για κατολισθήσεις και υποχωρήσεις του εδάφους.

Οι Δήμαρχοι των περιοχών της Εμίλια Ρομάνια, μάλιστα, προχώρησαν και σε προληπτικό κλείσιμο όσων σχολείων έχουν υψηλό κίνδυνο πλημμύρας, και συνέστισαν στους κατοίκους να αποφεύγουν τις μετακινήσεις χωρίς σοβαρούς λόγους.

Η κακοκαιρία δυστυχώς έχει επηρεάσει τις υποδομές της πίστας με την οργάνωση να ανακοινώνει ότι δεν θα προχωρήσει με το GP.

The Formula 1 community wants to send its thoughts to the people and communities affected by the recent events in the Emilia-Romagna region. We also want to pay tribute to the work of the emergency services who are doing everything they can to help those in need.

Following discussions between Formula 1, the President of the FIA, the competent authorities – including the relevant Ministers, the President of the Automobile Club of Italy, the President of Emilia-Romagna Region, the Mayor of the City and the promoter – the decision has been taken not to proceed with the Grand Prix weekend at Imola.

The decision has been taken because it is not possible to safely hold the event for our fans, the teams and our personnel and it is the right and responsible thing to do given the situation faced by the towns and cities in the region. It would not be right to put further pressure on the local authorities and emergency services at this difficult time.

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, said: “It is such a tragedy to see what has happened to Imola and Emilia-Romagna, the town and region that I grew up in, and my thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the flooding and the families and communities affected.

“I want to express my gratitude and admiration for the incredible emergency services who are working tirelessly to help those who need help and alleviate the situation – they are heroes and the whole of Italy is proud of them.

“The decision that has been taken is the right one for everyone in the local communities and the F1 family as we need to ensure safety and not create extra burden for the authorities while they deal with this very awful situation.”

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “My thoughts and those of the entire FIA family are with those affected by the terrible situation in the Emilia-Romagna region. The safety of everyone involved and recovery efforts are the top priority at this time.”

F1 Abu Dhabi: Ο Norris κέρδισε το τελευταίο GP και χάρισε στη McLaren το πρωτάθλημα κατασκευαστών

Μεγάλη επιτυχία για τη McLaren η οποία μετά από 26 χρόνια, θα πανηγυρίσει το παγκόσμιο πρωτάθλημα κατασκευαστών, παρά την τεράστια προσπάθεια των δύο οδηγών της Ferrari στο χθεσινό αγώνα

Παραλίγο να βάλει φωτιά στον σημερινό αγώνα ο Max Verstappen όταν στην πρώτη στροφή, χτύπησε τον δεύτερο Piastri. Παρόλα αυτά, και οι δύο συνέχισαν τον αγώνα και έτσι η νίκη του Norris θα φέρει το πολυπόθητο πρωτάθλημα κατασκευαστών στην McLaren, παρά τον εντυπωσιακό αγώνα των δύο οδηγών της Ferrari που έκαναν το 2-3. Στο σημερινό GP εμφανίστηκε μόνο ένα Virtual Safety Car παρά το γεγονός ότι οι εγκαταλείψεις ήταν 4 (Bottas – Colapinto – Perez- Lawson), την ώρα που ο Hamilton λέει αντίο στη Mercedes και ο Sainz στη Ferrari.

Μία χρονιά γεμάτη δράση ήρθε στο τέλος της, με την επόμενη να αναμένεται ακόμα καλύτερη. Δείτε τι έγινε στον αγώνα παρακάτω.

Η McLaren είναι έτοιμη να πανηγυρίσει το πρωτάθλημα κατασκευαστών για πρώτη φορά μετά από 26 χρόνια και όλα δείχνουν ότι θα καταφέρει, καθώς πρώτος στο grid είναι σήμερα ο Norris και δεύτερος ο Piastri. Τρίτος ο Carlos Sainz που τρέχει για τελευταία φορά με τα χρώματα της Scuderia Ferrari και τέταρτος ο ήδη εστεμμένος πρωταθλητής Max Verstappen. Πέμπτος ο Gasly και έκτος ο Russell ενώ ο Hamilton 16ος (τελευταία χρονιά στη Mercedes). Οι ελπίδες της Ferrari για το πρωτάθλημα ουσιαστικά εξανεμίστηκαν όταν ο Charles Leclerc δέχθηκε ποινή 10 θέσεων για αλλαγή υβριδικού συνόλου και έτσι εκκινεί 19ος.

Η τελική κατάταξη: Norris – Sainz – Leclerc – Hamilton – Russell – Verstappen – Gasly – Hulkenberg – Alonso – Piastri – Albon – Tsunoda – Zhou – Stroll – Doohan – Magnussen. Εγκατέλειψαν οι: Lawson – Bottas – Colapinto – Perez.
