Επίσημο: RB15, το πρώτο μονοθέσιο της Red Bull με κινητήρα Honda

Πολλές παρουσιάσεις νέων μονοθεσίων τη σημερινή ημέρα, καθώς μετά τη νέα W10 της Mercedes AMG F1, η Red Bull Racing μόλις αποκάλυψε την RB15, η οποία γίνεται το πρώτο μονοθέσιο της αυστριακής ομάδας που φοράει το power-unit της Honda.

Όπως καταλαβαίνεις, το νέο μονοθέσιο της Red Bull για το πρωτάθλημα της Formula 1 του 2019 σηματοδοτεί μια νέα εποχή για την ομάδα των ενεργειακών ποτών, καθώς θα φανεί ο καρπός της συνεργασίας με την Honda και την προμήθεια των power units από τον Ιάπωνα κατασκευαστή. Το 2019 θα είναι η πρώτη φορά, μετά την επιστροφή της στην F1 το 2015, όπου η Honda θα προμηθεύει δύο ομάδες με το power-unit της, καθώς η Honda έτρεξε με την Toro Rosso το 2018, πριν υπογράψει συμφωνία με την Red Bull.

Από τις φωτογραφίες βλέπουμε ένα νέο χρωματισμό για το μονοθέσιο, στο οποίο κυριαρχεί το σκούρο μπλε και κόκκινο χρώμα. Κατά την παρουσίαση της RB15, όμως, η Red Bull δήλωσε ότι αυτό είναι one-off livery, κάτι που σημαίνει ότι θα το δούμε μόνο στις χειμερινές δοκιμές στην πίστα της Βαρκελώνης, που ξεκινούν στις 18 του μήνα.

Formula 1: Ακύρωση της Imola μετά από ακραίες καιρικές συνθήκες!

Το GP της Ειμίλια Ρομάνια στην Ιταλία το προσεχές τριήμερο (19-21 Μαΐου) βγαίνει εκτός προγράμματος, καθώς η περιοχή βρίσκεται σε κατάσταση συναγερμού για την επερχόμενη σφοδρή κακοκαιρία.

Η Ιταλία αντιμετωπίζει εδώ και αρκετές ημέρες προβλήματα θυελλωδών ανέμων, καταιγίδων και πλημμυρών, και τα φαινόμενα δεν δείχνουν να εξασθενούν.

H Πολιτική Προστασία της χώρας κήρυξε σε καθεστώς “κόκκινου συναγερμού” την περιοχή της Εμίλια Ρομάνια, όπου βρίσκεται η πίστα της Ίμολα.

Η κατάσταση έκτακτης ανάγκης επεβλήθη λόγω των προβλέψεων για θυελλώδεις ανέμους και κατακλυσμούς με ύψος βροχής μέχρι και 150 mm, που φτάνουν σε βαθμό επικινδυνότητας ακόμα και για κατολισθήσεις και υποχωρήσεις του εδάφους.

Οι Δήμαρχοι των περιοχών της Εμίλια Ρομάνια, μάλιστα, προχώρησαν και σε προληπτικό κλείσιμο όσων σχολείων έχουν υψηλό κίνδυνο πλημμύρας, και συνέστισαν στους κατοίκους να αποφεύγουν τις μετακινήσεις χωρίς σοβαρούς λόγους.

Η κακοκαιρία δυστυχώς έχει επηρεάσει τις υποδομές της πίστας με την οργάνωση να ανακοινώνει ότι δεν θα προχωρήσει με το GP.

The Formula 1 community wants to send its thoughts to the people and communities affected by the recent events in the Emilia-Romagna region. We also want to pay tribute to the work of the emergency services who are doing everything they can to help those in need.

Following discussions between Formula 1, the President of the FIA, the competent authorities – including the relevant Ministers, the President of the Automobile Club of Italy, the President of Emilia-Romagna Region, the Mayor of the City and the promoter – the decision has been taken not to proceed with the Grand Prix weekend at Imola.

The decision has been taken because it is not possible to safely hold the event for our fans, the teams and our personnel and it is the right and responsible thing to do given the situation faced by the towns and cities in the region. It would not be right to put further pressure on the local authorities and emergency services at this difficult time.

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, said: “It is such a tragedy to see what has happened to Imola and Emilia-Romagna, the town and region that I grew up in, and my thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the flooding and the families and communities affected.

“I want to express my gratitude and admiration for the incredible emergency services who are working tirelessly to help those who need help and alleviate the situation – they are heroes and the whole of Italy is proud of them.

“The decision that has been taken is the right one for everyone in the local communities and the F1 family as we need to ensure safety and not create extra burden for the authorities while they deal with this very awful situation.”

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem said: “My thoughts and those of the entire FIA family are with those affected by the terrible situation in the Emilia-Romagna region. The safety of everyone involved and recovery efforts are the top priority at this time.”
